The roads we travel throughout our college years come in different forms – some have it rough, some have a smooth ride, some take detours along the way, but nevertheless, it is filled with a variety of highs and lows that make it a worthwhile adventure for every student. This school year, the Sanggunian ng Mag-aaral ng Miriam organizes the Welcome Night with the theme “Biyahe,” in celebration of the different journeys and different roads traveled by our students. This event is dedicated to the incoming freshman, anxious but ready to face on this new part of their story, to our seniors who are about to take on the challenges the world has to offer, and to those in between, still figuring out which path to take.
The event aims to unite new and old students, kicking off the school year with a showcase of homegrown Miriam College talents CCATT Street and Company of One. There will also be live performances by invited local music artists such as Benny Bunny Band, Paranoid City, Cheats, Jensen and the Flips, and Autotelic.
Welcome Night: Biyahe will happen on August 25, 2017, at the Marian Auditorium in Miriam College. Doors will open at 6 pm to all year levels. Outside guests are also invited to Welcome Night. For more information, please contact Alex de Guzman at mcsanggunian@gmail.com.
