Don’t know where to go on Saturdays? Head over to Meridian International (MINT) College in McKinley Hill for their Pocket Workshops – the business, arts, and technology College’s fun and affordable learning platform.

MINT Pocket Workshops are MINT’s initiative to offer workshops that focus on subjects that are of interest to the youth. It also serves as a glimpse into what the school is about: Creativity, Diversity, and Community. The workshops give attendees opportunities to broaden their horizons through new hobbies, skills, or crafts while having fun. Previously, they have offered vinyl DJ-ing, spoken word poetry, music composition, and travel blogging workshops.

This October, they’re offering a two-part Calligraphy Workshop with Louise Anog. Louise is a senior high student at MINT College. She has been featured on CandyMagazine.com, and was listed among the “7 Young Artists to Follow” for her wonderful skills in calligraphy. The workshop will be on October 7 and 21 at 1:00-4:00 PM. Slots are available at only Php 250.00 per session or Php 450.00 for both sessions. Both rates are inclusive of workshop materials. For more information, visit https://goo.gl/ntBbYC.

Session 1 will focus on Basic Brush Pen Calligraphy, and Session 2 will be about Digitizing Your Calligraphy. MINT Pocket Workshop: Calligraphy with Louise Anog is presented with WhenInManila.com as a media partner.

MINT Pocket Workshops are offered twice every month, and are held at the MINT College campus in McKinley Hill. They also offer workshop venues to artists who wish to share and teach their skills to the public.
