July 22, 2017 marks a significant date as Neocolors Productions, in Partnership with the Tourism Promotions Board Philippines, gathered hundreds of Millennials from different Schools and Universities in Metro and Mega Manila for Let’s Go Dance Competition 2017. The aim of the event is not only to showcase the excellence of Filipino dancers but also to send love and support to our brothers and sisters in Marawi through dance.

This year’s grand finals of Let’s Go Dance Competition is not just about celebrating the growing inclination of today’s young people to hip-hop dance but also to involve them in socially-relevant activities. In line with the Tourism Promotions Board Philippine’s campaign of promoting Philippine tourism to its target market – which are the millennials, the agency is encouraging these young people to travel more, and to also dedicate their time and talents to worthwhile causes such as performing for peace not just for Marawi but for the whole country.

All the participants and guests have taken part in sending help for Marawi as part of the proceeds from the event and some three thousand pieces of clothing items from Jewels Clothing Corporation, one of the event supporters, were donated to New Life Community Care Inc., a non-government organization that facilitates relief operations in Marawi and Iligan.

Being able to participate in this socially responsible act and at the same time being able to bring home trophies and cash prizes have made our winners celebrate the victory even more deeply.

For High School Category, the “The Class” of  Longos of National High School bagged the Championship Trophy while “Prime Movers” of Cavite State University won in the College division, and “Nocturnal Dance Company” took home the championship prize for the Open Category.

This event is also supported by YHMD International Manpower Services, Jewels Clothing Corporation, MX3 capsule coffee and tea, Gardenia, Nail It!, Peanut World, Nature’s Spring, Fukuda, Gamma Pro Lights and Sounds, True Blends, Crystal Clear and Masuki.
