Michelle Rodriguez might leave “Fast and the Furious” franchise over limited female roles

Uh oh.

The Fast and the Furious franchise better “show more love” to their female characters, lest they lose on of their original cast members! Michelle Rodriguez, who plays Letty in five of the franchise’s eight films, just posted on her Instagram page that she would consider leaving the franchise if the film doesn’t let their female characters shine more.

“F8 is out digitally today, I hope they decide to show some love to the women of the franchise on the next one. Or I just might have to say goodbye to a loved franchise. It’s been a good ride & I’m grateful for the opportunity the fans & studio have provided over the years… One Love.”

After Paul Walker’s death in 2013 and Jordana Brewster being written out of Fast 7, Michelle  and Vin Diesel are the only original cast members left.

Michelle’s character plays such an important role in the series and it would really be sad to see her go.

Here’s to more female love!
