Michelle Madrigal Opens Up About Having Her Breast Implants Removed

Former-actress and current-fitness enthusiast Michelle Madrigal recently underwent an explant surgery. She shared her plans to have her breast implants removed last December 4 and explained that they no longer serve her and her lifestyle.

Michelle documented the day of her explant surgery and bared her journey for us all to watch. She uploaded the video to her channel on December 13 and talked about the nervousness she had leading up to the surgery.

Following the surgery she shared: “All is well, I’m so happy how my boobs turned out. This is the first day, it’s a little loose, obviously, because it was stretched and I had the implants for so long. But I like how they are. I just feel so much lighter with my chest and I feel like I’m free.”

Michelle further wrote about what she was going through post-explant surgery on her Instagram. “I was so nervous this morning because I wasn’t sure what to expect post-surgery (how my boobs would look without implants). Then, I woke up feeling lighter and happier knowing that I am on the way to healing and recovery,” she captioned.

In a second post, she referred back to her surgery when speaking with the theme of ‘freedom’ in mind. “2020 is all about self-love, healing and living in a mindful state. 4 days post-op and never more in tune with my body,” Michelle wrote.

In an earlier vlog, Michelle was honest that the implants were a choice she made out of insecurity. Having grown out of that particular decision made 12 years ago, she chose to prioritize her health once she felt aches in her breasts.

“I wanna be healthy when I’m 50, so I can still hang out with Anika and not be sick, and just live life without any foreign device in my system and just enjoy me,” she said.
