Michael V. has officially recovered from the COVID-19 and, to show his fervent gratitude to the medical front-liners who are risking everything to save lives of patients like him, he created an amazing piece of art dedicated to them.
Bitoy shared the sketch on his social media accounts and encouraged his friends and fans to download and color it if they want to.
“Posting this MEDICAL FRONTLINER fan art. Kung trip n’yo, p’wede n’yong i-download at kulayan,” he wrote. “Or if it inspires you, gawa naman kayo ng sarili n’yong version.”
He also published a vlog wherein he showed the process of creating his artwork and all the small yet significant details he made sure to add to capture the hardship these front-liners face every day.
“I made sure na mailagay lahat ng detalye na tumatak sa isip ko. ‘Yung tagaktak ng pawis nila, paghubad ng PPE, ‘yung pangungulubot ng mga kamay dahil sa ilang patong na gloves. Yung marka na iniiwan ng maghapon na pag susuot ng face mask,” he said. “Ito po ang paraan ko ng pasasalamat doon sa mga healthcare workers namin.”
He also called on all Filipinos to do their part in preventing the spread of the disease to help all those working tirelessly to curb it.
“Kahit po mga superheroes, at one point, natatalo sa mga kalaban. Ang mga medical frontliners po natin ay hindi superheroes. Wala po silang superpowers. Kaya kung puwede lang po sana huwag natin silang hayaang matalo. Tulungan po natin sila,” he added.
