Dubai-based Filipino designer Michael Cinco has been selected as one of the judges for the Miss Universe 2024!
The Miss Universe organization announced that he will join the pageant’s selection committee, bringing his renowned expertise in fashion to the panel.

The esteemed judges include Cuban-American musician and producer Emilio Estefan, American YouTuber, actress and singer Lele Pons, American actor and television host Mario Lopez, Brazilian artist Romero Britto, Austrian fashion designer and beauty pageant titleholder Eva Cavalli, among others.
In a now-expired Instagram Story, Cinco said he’s honored to become a part of the Miss Universe 2024 judging panel.
“My Miss Universe journey began by dressing the extraordinary women who wore the crown—each one embodying beauty, strength, and purpose,” he wrote. “Today, I’m honored to take on a new role in this journey, helping to select the next inspiring queen.”
Cinco is the fashion designer behind the stunning gowns of Miss Universe titleholders, including Pia Wurtzbach, Demi Leigh Tebow, and Andrea Meza as well as other beauty queens globally.
Some notable Filipino personalities who previously joined Miss Universe’s selection committee were Pia Wurtzbach, Manny Pacquiao, Marian Rivera, and Lea Salonga.
The 73rd Miss Universe will take place on November 17 (Philippine time) in Mexico City, with Chelsea Manalo as the country’s representative.
