“He is fighting for his life”. 

Doctors treating Michael ‪‎Schumacher‬ have held a press conference in France. 

They say the seven-time Formula 1 world champion is in a critical condition after suffering a brain injury while skiing the  French Alps.

The 44-year-old German was in a coma on arrival and underwent immediate surgery.

Doctors say he is being kept in an artificial coma.

Michael Schumacher is a retired German racing driver. Schumacher is a seven-time Formula One World Champion and is widely regarded as one of the best race car drivers of all time.
