Megamax, which is known for their Classic Mascarpone Tiramisu, just launched a new product: the Traditional Chocolate Chip Cookies that’s all set to #BringBackTheCrunch. But these cookies are no ordinary ones; they’re inspired by the owners’ 90-year-old grandmother’s recipe which has been in their family for generations.

“’Ama!! Something’ is what all the cousins said as they came together after our weekly family dinners to ask our grandmother for a sweet treat before going home when we were kids. Sometimes she’d go to her icebox and pull out milky way chocolate bars, but sometimes she’d go into her kitchen and bring us 1 can of chocolate chip cookies each,” Megamax shared.
“She packed it in these really cute Pringles containers, and our small hands back then could still reach the bottom. These cookies remind us of the good old days and it never fails to make us smile as we reminisce.
”
After trying their best to replicate the cookies, they finally were able to bake it themselves with her seal of approval.
Honestly, there are no words to describe it. The cookies are not so thin that they’ll crumble in one bite but they’re not so thick either that you’ll hurt your teeth. It’s also got the right balance of sweetness that doesn’t overpower your tastebuds. And when they said crunchy, they really do mean crunchy. If you aren’t too careful, you won’t be able to notice yourself already close to emptying the cookie container in one sitting—it’s just that addicting!

You can preorder the cookies through their Instagram page. 30 batches are made per day on Saturdays and Sundays, but they can accommodate special weekday deliveries with a minimum order of six canisters.
