MEG Magazine’s “Trending Now: #MEGvictoryparty” was a Neon-Bright Success

When in Manila, fashion and lifestyle brand MEG Magazine has a number of reasons to celebrate – with the release of a smashing October issue featuring a double-cover with babes Shaina Magdayao and Maxene Magalona, reality TV show I am Meg Season 2 being a trending topic on social media for three consecutive weeks, and a new and improved look for the lifestyle portal, it is just fitting for MEG Magazine to throw itself a victory party!





Dubbed as “Trending Now: #megvictoryparty,” the event was the black-lit spectacle that it promised to be as guests arrived at Republiq all decked out in their neon techno-inspired attire and toasted to an epic night, with music provided by DJ duo The Zombettes composed of supermodels Ornussa Cadness and Sanya Smith serving as the perfect backdrop.

Present at the event were stunning MEG Magazine covergirls Shaina Magdayao and Maxene Magalona with the lovely ladies of I am Meg Season 2, as well as TV producer and TV100 head Michael Carandang, as well as One Mega Group’s Publisher Dan Mejia and Digital Manager Erben Pilapil.


I am Meg is the search for the next MEG Ambassador and features 16 ladies who tough it out in a battle of wits, style and pizzazz to prove that they have what it takes to take on the role of the young and empowered MEG woman. Now on its second season, I am Meg has reached an all-time high viewership rating since its pilot episode and is showing no signs of slowing down as it continues to make noise online.
