Mabuhay, Drag Race Philippines! Following the resounding success of seasons one and two, the showcase of Pinoy excellence returns with a third iteration with 11 of the fiercest, most fabulous Filipino drag artists worldwide. The queens will compete in new challenges, dazzle in their most gorgeous outfits on the runway, and so much more.
Drag Race Philippines season three will premiere on August 7, 2024, on HBO GO in the Philippines and on WOW Presents Plus worldwide.
Paolo Ballesteros, the multi-awarded Filipino actor, model, and drag artist, will return as series host alongside the iconic Drag Race alum Jiggly Caliente and popular Filipina writer, TV personality, and activist KaladKaren, who will resume their judgesโ seats.
The official after-show, Drag Race Philippines: Untucked, will also return on August 7, 2024. Both the main show and Untucked will air at 7 PM in the Philippines and will be primarily in English, with some portions in Filipino.
The 11 queens competing for the title of the Philippinesโ Next Drag Superstar are:
Angel
Angel, a vibrant transwoman drag queen, hails from the stages of O Bar and Rapture, two iconic establishments in Metro Manila. She is known for her infectious energy and seductive performances that command the stage and make audiences fall in love with her. Each performance makes its mark on the stage, making her an icon in Manila’s nightlife.
John Fedellaga
Hailing from the sunny shores of California, John Fedellaga skyrocketed to internet stardom with her uproariously funny viral videos, earning her the title the Omegle Queen. John discovered her passion for performance in O Bar before moving to the US and making her mark there. From her humble beginnings in the Philippines to her meteoric rise on the global stage, John continues to inspire with her talent, dedication, and the relentless pursuit of her dreams.
JQuinn
JQuinnโs drag captures audiences with her energy and aesthetics. She draws inspiration from the bold colors, sleek links, and dynamic movements of K-pop and anime. The Asian Drag Pop Idol from Caloocan is also active behind the scenes, working as aย trusted wig stylist for many queens. With her keen eye for detail and impeccable sense of style, she transforms ordinary wigs into works of art, enhancing the beauty and charisma of her fellow performers.
Khianna
Khianna embraced drag during the pandemic and became a strong presence in Cagayan de Oroโs (CDO) club scene. She has established her name in the city’s nightlife with her dance moves and stunts. Khianna is a skilled makeup artist turned performer and shares a bond with season twoโs beloved CDO queen, Hana Beshie.
Maxie
Maxie, who hails from Santa Ana, Manila, is dubbed Asia’s Drag Singing Superstar. Her journey started at a young age when she immersed herself in singing competitions. She became a local sensation with her powerful vocals and stage presence.ย Maxie’s aspirations stretched beyond her hometown as she represented the Philippines on the global stage in World of Wonderโs singing competition, Queen of the Universe. She competed against drag queens worldwide and solidified her status as a rising star in the global community.
Myx Chanel
Myx Chanel is a queen of many trades. The multifaceted drag force from Marikina is not only known for her performances but also her behind-the-scenes contributions as the co-founder, co-producer, and co-host of the wildly popular Bekenemen podcast and its viewing parties. Her creativity and entrepreneurial spirit allowed Myx to become a trailblazer in digital entertainment, curating content that resonates with audiences far and wide.
Popstar Bench
Popstar Bench holds the esteemed title of Tala ng Sangkabaklaan (The Shining Star of the Gay Kingdom) at O Bar as the ultimate Sarah Geronimo impersonator in the Philippines. She is a pioneer in the world of drag and continues to inspire the next generation of performers.
Tita Baby
Tita Baby, affectionately known as the โultimate campy drag auntโ from San Juan, brings humor, charm, and theatrical flair to the stage. Even with seven years of experience, she still considers herself a โbaby queen.โ Tita Baby has carved out a niche, primarily engaging in drag at corporate events where her personality and hosting skills shine brightest. She embodies the essence of campy drag, whether commanding the stage with her quick wit and infectious energy or charming audiences with her larger-than-life persona.
Versex
Versex is a fashion queen and a renowned, sought-after hair stylist from Manila. She has become the go-to stylist for celebrities, including Heart Evangelista, Dolly De Leon, and Liza Soberano. Her talents don’t stop there: she has made waves on the international fashion scene and has walked the runways of New York.
Yudipota
Yudipota is a multifaceted talent from Bacolod who has carved out a unique niche for herself. While she excels in her professional career as a virtual healthcare assistant, her presence on social media as a drag artist has garnered widespread attention. Yudipota is known for her edgy, alternative looks that push the boundaries of traditional drag. Despite her larger-than-life persona on stage, Yudipota is a soft-spoken queen who commands attention with her quiet confidence and charisma.
Zymba Ding
Zymba Ding has swiftly risen to prominence in the world of drag despite her relatively short one-year tenure, thanks to her energy and mastery of the dance floor. She is also known for her looks that defy convention, especially her lionโs mane-like hair. Her recent triumph in the Bunganga Battle Royale, a fiercely competitive lip-sync competition. Zymba hails from Caloocan and is part of the House of Ding, started by her drag mother, season one’s Brigiding.
