Floyd Mayweather Jr. has just been STRIPPED OFF the welterweight world title he won after defeating Manny Pacquiao in their much-publicized mega fight!
This is all because he missed the deadline for paying a $200,000 sanctioning fee as Mayweather is not allowed to hold world title in multiple weight classes, according to the World Boxing Organization (WBO).
This means Mayweather was supposed to choose which weight division title he wanted to retain.
Reports say Mayweather had until Friday to inform the WBO of his decision.
According to reports, Mayweather has two weeks to appeal the WBO’s decision.
