No one seems too keen on celebrating April Fool’s Day on April 1 amid the public health crisis that is affecting lives all over the world. But just in case some people are still considering turning the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) disease into a joke, Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto posted a warning on his Twitter account.
Ang mag-April Fools joke tungkol sa covid, ipapasok sa isolation facility ng 14 days

“Ang mag-April Fools joke tungkol sa COVID, ipapasok sa isolation facility ng 14 days,” he wrote.
(“Anyone who pulls an April Fools joke about COVID-19 will be sent to the isolation facility for 14 days.”)
He tweeted this in reply to EarthShakerPH’s public service announcement for people not to make pranks about testing positive for the disease, especially since it’s a serious issue that is claiming lives day by day. “It will never be a good joke!” they said.
