Summer’s fast approaching When In Manila, and it got even hotter when the Beastly Korean boy group made their way to the Philippines! 2PM, named after the hottest time of the day, had set the arena on fire last March 2, 2013. But their burning passion is not only seen on stage, they have ventured to the different fields of show business, making them a diverse yet competitive group. These boys seems to have a lot of time in their hands, managing to do well while still maintaining their good looks and toned physiques. Being stage performers, powerful dancers, soulful singers and even actors with variety experience; what time is it now for 2PM?

2PM PRESSCON - JANG WOO YOUNGJang Wooyoung

Time for Acting: Member Chansung was not present during the presscon due to schedule conflicts with his drama filming. Fellow member, Wooyoung (who was once the perfect boy Jason of Dream High) talks about how the members feel about turning into actors. “Each member’s passion for acting is big. They’re practicing and attending acting schools. They’re looking for scenarios that suit them well, looking for new challenges as far as acting is concered.” Saying that although they would want a role that best fits their image, they’re also open for more challenging portrayals. Acting-dols may be common these days, but 2PM would like to polish their skills before taking the plunge.

2PM IN MANILA - NICHKHUNNichkhun

Time for International Success:  Now capturing the hearts of Asia with their concert – 2PM What Time Is It?”  LIVE TOUR 2013.  2PM also expressed their wish to achieve international recognition and get into Hollywood someday. “There are so many actors that I really want to work with.” Nichkhun expresses his willingness to climb the ladder to acting on a much bigger screen. “But I don’t know if anyone of us is ready for this, cause Seoul is like a different level of talent out there in Hollywood. I think we need to practice first and gain more experience in the field.” He adds. They’re not rushing into things, but they’re bound to work harder to walk on Hollywood’s red carpet one day.

2PM IN MANILA - OK TAEC YEONOk Taecyeon

Time for Variety: “We’re Always trying to challenge ourselves in different ways of entertainment. It could be acting, modelling, radio dj-ing – different ways where we can express ourselves and our love for you guys.Taecyeon says. Fans will be trilled to know that they won’t just see them on stage as 2PM and on screen as characters, but also through variety shows and solo albums where we can get to view them in a different light, as a group and individually. “Our upcoming album will be very great and maybe have some different solo acting and solo albums. I can’t really say anything right now cause it’s all so confidential…” He continues but then gets cut by fellow member Nichkhun saying “You just said everything Taec.” Although it’s no top secret that these boys are brewing up amazing things because as Taec says, “Expect great things from us.”

2PM WHAT TIME IS IT PRESS CONFERENCE

What Time Is It? 2PM!  The Legend of 2PM is about to start. With their second album in Japan getting first place in the presitigious Oricon chart, there’s nothing stopping them from reaching the top. “The reviews and fans’ response are very good, were good and still is good.” Taecyeon proudly says. And if that’s not good enough also “Be prepared for your mind to be blown” with their upcoming Korean album!

2PM IN MANILA - KIM JUNSU Jun K. (Kim Minjun)

The interview concluded with 2PM members giving messages to their fans, starting with the oldest Jun K.’s “Mahal Mahal….” The press waited for what he was about to say, but then he ended up with “Mahal na Halo-Halo..?” Young girls at the back giggled at his cute mistake, either he mixed his words or he was just craving for our signature dessert. But in the end he was able to tell us what he wanted to say, “Mahal ko Filipinos,  mahal ko Philippines!” And so I could hear girls giggle again, because of kilig this time around.

2PM IN MANILA - JANG WOO YOUNG

Wooyoung’s message was short and direct: “Mahal Kita.” But had a lot of impact. I really like how animated Wooyoung is. He’d smile, look emotionless, make cutesy and wacky faces, and even stare into space in a matter of seconds. (Evidence HERE. ^.^)

The temperature’s rising! Presented by Hoopla INC., Big Daddy Entertainment, M Live and JYP Entertainment; the boys of 2PM were able to give their fans a concert to remember! But that’s just the start of it. 2PM shows us how 24 hours is enough if used wisely. What they do is the result of their passion and what they get is all because of their hard work. So When In Manila, balance your time well now that we’re at our hottest point in life, whether it’s youth by age or by heart.

2PM IN MANILA - LEE JUNHOLee JunHo

And although it’s been a week since their concert, the 2PM fever has not lit off even for a bit. We may miss them a lot, but Junho’s words would probably comfort and make everyone smile from his unintentional aegyo, “Miss you… kita.” And as the host says, “We miss you too.” Till Next Time!
