The long wait is over!
Square Enix has finally revealed the highly anticipated Marvel’s Avengers video game with an all-new cinematic trailer at the 2019 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) held in Los Angeles, California.
The trailer shows our favorite superheroes, Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, and Black Widow, commemorating the opening of their West Coast headquarters as they vow to protect the sunny city of San Francisco. However, the celebration had to be cut short when enemy militia started attacking the city.
The story doesn’t end in victory, it seems, as the Avengers are defeated and the city is destroyed. Suffering from the backlash and the loss of Captain America, the Avengers part ways… until five years later, when a bigger threat starts to make itself known, they decide to team up once again to save the world — this time, without mistakes.

The studios behind Marvel’s Avengers also dished out that the game can be completed solo, but will also be playable by up to four players in co-op. They also shared that the story will be expanded in the future with more playable characters to be added for free post-launch. Best of all, the game won’t be making use of random loot boxes or pay-to-win scenarios!
The game is set to be launched on May 15, 2020, and will be playable on the PS4, PC, Xbox One, and Google’s new Stadia game streaming service.
