Marvel Reveals Upcoming “Fantastic Four” Movie Director

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige unloaded a lot of brand new announcements at the Walt Disney Studios – Lucasfilm and Marvel Studios Presentation at D23 Expo 2022. This comes as the Marvel Cinematic Universe dives further into The Multiverse Saga, MCU’s Phase 4, 5, and 6.

One of the revelations was the director of MCU’s upcoming “Fantastic Four” film. Feige announced that it will be none other than Matt Shakman!

In case you did not know this yet, Shakman also directed Marvel’s Disney+ series “WandaVision” in 2021 with Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany reprising their roles as Wanda and Vision. He also directed a couple of episodes for Season 7 of the HBO series “Game of Thrones” in 2017, namely “The Spoils of War” and “Eastwatch”.

Furthermore, Shakman directed the pilot episode for “The Great”, a 2020 Hulu historical fiction series starring Elle Fanning and Nicholas Hoult.
