JoshNella fans have been treated to a lot of kilig moments for the past few weeks between onscreen lovers Joshua Garcia and Janella Salvador, from them posting photos and sweet messages to one another to Joshua calling Janella “baby” during The Killer Bride‘s finale party. But what does Markus Paterson, Janella’s rumored boyfriend, have to say about their friendship?
Apparently, Markus doesn’t seem at all bothered by their love team according to an interview with ABS-CBN News. The Filipino-British actor said that he and Janella were in good terms and that it’s no issue with him that she has a new love team partner.
“I don’t really need to talk to anyone about it,” he said. “It’s cool. They’re gonna have a long beautiful career together, I wish them the best.”
He also said that he and Joshua are also “okay,” although they have yet to see each other again.
“I don’t see why we wouldn’t be. We haven’t talked yet. I haven’t seen him yet,” he said.
However, he refused to give a serious answer when asked if he and Janella were truly in a relationship. “I like it when it’s not straight so let’s not set things straight muna (right now),” he teased.

Also asked if he would want to work with Janella in future projects, Markus explained that he would rather keep his personal and professional life separate. “I like to keep my personal life and my work life far from each other. I wouldn’t mind working with her maybe sometime in the future but now, she needs to focus on Joshua for now,” he added.
