Typhoon Maring has made roads impassable and several places flooded today. In times like this, we are more susceptible to illness, especially the ones in underprivileged communities whose access to healthcare is still a big problem. It is timely therefore that Marie France has chosen to continue its annual medical mission last Saturday at Baranggay Bambang, Pasig City, as a way of giving back.
Marie France is well-known for its beauty treatments, but more than the physical beauty, they believe in the beauty that radiates from within. Their in-house doctors are very happy to render their services — medical consultations, comprehensive checkups, laboratory tests — and the management is proud of the successful outreach program.
Over 940 residents went home happy that day. And everyone in Marie France, too!
