Mariah Carey Mourns for the Passing of Filipino YouTube Vlogger, Lloyd Cadena

Songbird Supreme Mariah Carey has sent her condolences to the family and friends of Filipino YouTube Sensation Lloyd Cadena who passed away on Friday, September 4.

On Twitter, Carey retweeted a post shared by her local fan club of which Cadena had been a beloved member of.

“So sad. RIP Lloyd, you will be missed. Sending my prayers to his family and friends during this difficult time,” she said.

Cadena is known to be a huge fan of Carey, launching his YouTube career by creating song parodies of the American singer.

News of his death shocked many who have followed his vlogs and enjoyed his content through the years. He was 26 years old at the time of his passing, the cause of which was not disclosed.

“It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we announce the untimely demise of our beloved brother Lloyd Cafe Cadena,” the Facebook post on his official page read. “May he be remembered for all the joy and laughter he shared with everyone. My family and I ask for your prayers, respect, and privacy during this time.”
