Manila International Book Fair to go online this November!

Worry not, bookworms! The Manila International Book Fair isn’t going anywhere (except online!) (also because we should all be quarantining responsibly!). In an announcement they made on their Facebook page on August 15, they posted that the Mannila International Book Fair would push through but online, naming it the Manila International Online Book Fair, to happen this coming November 24-30, 2020. While we don’t know if the pandemic will be over by then, we’re really appreciative of their effort to take things online just in case and for everyone’s collective safety.

Taking things online lessens the risk of transmission of COVID-19, should it still be around. Still, it can’t hurt to be too careful, making sure that we’re all safe is the way to go. Kudos to you, MIBF! We can’t wait! It won’t be the same as touching the books and seeing them all on display, but we’re still excited!

Check out their announcement below:

You Spoke, We Listened. This year, the Manila International Book Fair is Coming to You. Save the Dates!#MIBF2020 #ManilaInternationalBookFair #MIBF

They’re still going to announce how exactly it’ll work. We’re excited though!
