A poor man had to let go of his hopes and dreams after his wife had found out that his brand new Sony PlayStation 5 wasn’t an air purifier like what he had originally told her.
This story was initially shared by a Facebook user from Taiwan who had bought the console from the man at a ridiculously low price. According to him, he had called to inquire about the product listing online and spoke to a woman on the phone who he says seemed quite eager to sell it, despite the price tag. Unbeknownst to the user, he would be meeting up with a middle-aged man instead the following day to pick up the PS5.
After chatting with the man, who looked like an avid gamer as the user noted in his story, the user asked the dreaded question: “Why are you selling it?”
The man responded, “My wife wants to sell it.”
Apparently, the man lamented, his wife was able to distinguish the gaming console from an air purifier and was not happy about his purchase. In his defense, the Sony PS5 does look like it can pass off as a home appliance to someone who doesn’t play games or has never seen the Sony PS5 before. But really, the moral of the story here is that you should always talk about it with your partner instead of deceiving them or, in the case of the wife, prohibiting them from buying something they really want.
At least the Facebook user is happy with his purchase!
