Upgrade The Way You Eat Cheese with Mama Jessie’s Kesong Puti

Next, I tried making pesto pasta exciting. I usually don’t order pesto in restos because they look boring (I know, I’m sorry. Sometimes I judge food based on appearance ) but it’s a favorite in our home. We have ready-made pesto so I put that to use.

Ingredients: Mama Jessie’s Kesong Puti , onion, garlic, pesto sauce (you can buy this or make it yourself), spicy sardines (or any meat of your choice) and your choice of pasta noodles.

After cooking the noodles, get a separate pan for your pasta sauce. Sauté onions first and then garlic. (Pesto has garlic in it already but I just love garlic) Add sardines or any choice of meat, best if it’s spicy. Then add pesto sauce and a few minutes after that, the noodles. The sauce is best if its spicy because the crumbled Kesong Puti you’d put on top of it would perfectly combat/complement the taste and texture of everything. Serve and enjoy with your family!

The last one is everybody’s favorite–P I Z Z A. I freaking love pizza and everyone in our house does too. We eat it almost every week. Whether it’s the healthy ones, or the oily ones, we eat ’em all. So yes, making one at home is also a handy skill. It’s pretty easy! This one’s a basic recipe and you can just throw (or put the ingredients with elegance) everything on top.

You can add more ingredients if you wish.

What I love about this recipe is that it’s simple but the flavors are big. To add to that, the textures complement each other well. You can amp up this recipe by adding more ingredients or  by making your own pizza dough. I just bought mine from the supermarket, but it worked well for my taste. Simply spread the pizza sauce on top leaving half an inch for the crust add the mozzarella and crumbled Mama Jessie’s Kesong Puti. Then neatly arrange the fresh basil leaves, tomatoes, olives, and garlic. (told you I love garlic).

Doesn’t it look gorgeous? Pizza is forever.

Put it inside a pre-heated oven (250 degrees) and bake for 10 to 15 minutes. You’ll notice that the kesong puti has gloriously melted on the pizza bread/dough, and that’s one of the best foodgasmic sights you’ll ever see when cooking pizza. Slice the pizza into equal parts (depends on the size of the pizza), Instagram it, and eat!
