Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque reminded people this Monday that we cannot be complacent while a COVID-19 vaccine or cure remains elusive.
(What, When, Where: Everything you need to know about the General Community Quarantine)
[We cannot return to normal as long as there is no COVID-19 vaccine or cure. If we are stubborn in our blindness to COVID-19, it may cost us our lives.

This reminder was given as various areas in the country begin to loosen quarantine restrictions. Several provinces and cities have already transitioned to a general community quarantine while Metro Manila and other areas are undergoing consideration for the lifting of enhanced community quarantine.
[So we need to be careful because what it means to lower ECQ to GCQ – there is still a threat though not as dire – but even if it is lowered to GCQ the situation is still critical.]
