Ultimate Palette (Php 1,965)
Makeup World is a newly launched local makeup brand that offers affordable products. Manufactured in Taiwan, the brand promises that all of their products are made of good quality ingredients.
When I first heard about the brand and upon seeing their packaging, I was expecting to see four-digit tags. Would you believe that their prices start at Php 99? I couldn’t believe it either!
Pucker|Up Matte Lipstick (Php 159)
The Pucker|Up Matte Lipstick comes in 12 shades. Personally, among all the makeup products in the world, lipstick is what I usually splurge on. You know what they say, “a girl can never have to many shades of lipstick.” For Php 159, you get a creamy matte lipstick that is easy to apply and lasts for a long time. I had three servings of pasta, dessert, and iced tea (#NoShame) after putting this, and my lippy was still on my lips after the meal. What a steal!
Complete Contour Palette (Php 449)
While the eyebrow craze is taking over some girls’ makeup routine, I still think that #ContourIsLife. Trust the Complete Contour Palette to help add some definition to your face. It’s perfect for emphasizing your favorite facial features.
Cover|Up Pressed Powder (Php 299)
The Cover|Up Pressed Powder adds extra coverage and evens out skin tone. I love the compact packaging since it’s easy to slide into my purse for when I need to retouch throughout the day. This is perfect for achieving that all day shine-free look.

Luckily, I was able to try most of the products myself. My personal favorites are the Ultimate Palette and the Pucker|Up Matte Lipstick in the shade Paris. I love the Ultimate Palette because it has everything, from brows to lips. With just one palette, you can create a full face makeup look. It also comes with removable inserts which you can mix & match and attach to a mini portable case; perfect for on-the-go girls like me.
Upon swatching all 12 shades of the Pucker|Up Matte Lipstick, I knew that Paris is the shade I’ve been looking for in the longest time. I think I finally found a dupe of a brand that’s 10x it’s price. Honestly, I can’t even tell their difference (aside from the price tag). I think this will be my “go to” lippy.
