If these words don’t sound like gibberish to you, then one thing’s for sure– you were a hardcore Encantadia fan!!
After a decade since its release, the mega-hit telefantasya Encantadia is set to enchant viewers again onscreen on GMA-7, according to local reports!
The comeback was indicated in a report on GMA news program “24 Oras”, which cited GMA-7 CEO Atty. Felipe Gozon saying that the 2016 lineup of shows on the TV network was something to watch out for!
Jennylyn Mercado, who starred as Lira in the series, also posted her own throwback photo, basically confirming the return!
It wasn’t clear, however, if the Encantadia comeback would be a continuation or a remake of the original.
The success of the original Encantadia series paved way for a prequel, Etheria, and a third series, called Encantadia: Pag-ibig Hanggang Wakas.
