Maja Salvador and Rambo Nuñez shared the first photo of their daughter, Maria, giving fans a rare look at their family. The couple posted the image on Instagram on January 1, 2026, showing Maria bundled up in cozy winter clothes during a family vacation in Alberta, Canada.

In the image, baby Maria is bundled up in leopard-print and white winter clothes, with Maja explaining why they chose to share this moment publicly.
“To our Maria, posting this one and only photo para ipakita namin sa buong mundo kung gaano kami ka proud sa pinakamalaking blessing na natanggap namin,” Maja wrote.
She also emphasized their decision to prioritize their daughter’s privacy moving forward.
“Pangako ni Mama and Dada na proprotektahan ka namin at ang privacy mo kahit anong mangyari anak. So when the time comes may choice ka kung paano mo gusto makilala ng mga tao,” she added. “We love you so much anak!”

Maja has previously shared that one reason for keeping Maria’s face private is concern about artificial intelligence and the potential misuse of images online. She also noted wanting to protect her daughter from online criticism or bashing, something she has seen affect other children in the industry.
“Ang hirap kasi ngayon, lalo na ’yung AI. Natatakot ako na gamitin in the future,” she shared in an earlier interview, pointing out how photos and videos can be edited and misused without people knowing.
Aside from AI-related concerns, Maja also spoke about wanting to shield her daughter from online bashing.
“Marami akong kaibigan sa industriya na mayroong anak… ’yung mga inosenteng bata, pino-post lang dahil proud ang mga magulang. Tapos may mga taong grabe kung maka-bash,” she explained, adding that as a mother, it’s something she wants to avoid for her child.
The photo also gives a glimpse into how Maja and Rambo are approaching parenthood in the digital age. While they are clearly proud of their daughter, they have been careful to keep Maria mostly out of the public eye, showing only what they feel comfortable sharing.
Maja and Rambo announced her pregnancy in December through a Christmas-themed video, and Maria was born in May 2024. The couple first dated in 2010, reunited in 2019, got engaged in April 2022, and tied the knot in July 2023 at The Apurva Kempinski Bali in Indonesia.
