At last nights Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) awards night, Maine Mendoza aka Yaya Dub was awarded with Best Festival Supporting Actress for her role in the film “My Bebe Love.”
After knowing that she won, she posted her gratitude on Twitter humbly and jokingly asking, “Bakit ako?”
Her followers were quick to show support to her. Some tell her not to mind her bashers. While others suggest that she just block her bashers. Others say she truly deserves it despite not undergoing any formal acting class.
As of posting, her tweet already has over 21K retweets and 54K likes.
Maine was not able to attend the awarding as she is on vacation in Japan.
My Bebe Love is Maine’s first stint on the big screen and her first entry to the MMFF.
