MAESTRO 2019 – THE COUNTRY’S FIRST ADVOCACY-CENTERED DANCE COMPETITION

WIM 1

On March 30, we are launching Maestro 2019—the very first advocacy-centered dance competition in the Philippines. It will be held in Ateneo De Manila’s Henry Lee Irwin Theatre with an expected attendance of 1,200 people, most of whom come from the country’s major cities within and outside of Metro Manila.

The groundbreaking event unites over 500 of the country’s premiere dancers as they COMPETE for a CAUSE. The competition will have three divisions: high school, college and open (non-school based) categories welcoming competitors of both the hip-hop and jazz genres. Watch crews from all over the metro compete for a cause and the chance to win Php 50,000 PER division!

Maestro’s proceeds will fund the sustenance of The Heart at Play Foundation’s free therapy services for marginalized Persons With Special Needs this year. The Heart at Play Rotaract (THPR), is an independent student-run organization primarily committed to promoting awareness about People with Special Needs (PWSNs).

Visit Maestro Dance Competition on Facebook for ticket details. Each ticket gives you a free pass in The Cove for the competition after party!
