Legal Management students from different universities in the Philippines are set to face off in this year’s Luculentus in De La Salle University. The event will be held on August 10, 2019 from 1:00 to 5:00pm at the Brother Andrew Gonzales Hall, Lecture Room 1103.

Luculentus is an annual intercollegiate quiz bee, which term is derived from Latin that translates to “brilliant” – a nod to fostering an academic competition that calls upon Legal Management majors from various colleges and universities to hone and showcase their knowledge, skills, and capabilities.

Now on its third year, the aim to encapsulate the essence of enriching one’s knowledge and love of the law is redefined by a more inclusive range of participant teams, including those from nearby provinces.

Being more than just a competition, Luculentus is an advocacy-driven endeavor that calls upon aspiring lawyers and prospective business leaders to further deepen their zeal for social justice and legal awareness. The event aspires to enthuse the youth to garner knowledge, as well as understanding of the law more profoundly, and ultimately paves an avenue for students to contribute to the ripple of change we envision to see in light of the adversities in our society.

The competition is organized by Ley La Salle, the premier organization of Legal Management students and aspiring lawyers of De La Salle University, which through this competition, continues to uphold its tagline: “Driven by passion, United by law”. It is one of the only distinct reasons that make the event not only challenging, but truly a worthwhile experience for future legal advocates and business leaders to partake in.
