Celebrity couple Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom will be postponing their wedding amid concerns over the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
The two were supposed to tie the knot in Japan this summer.
“It was all set for Japan with 150 guests. Katy was actually really excited about walking down the aisle pregnant,” a source close to the couple told People in an exclusive interview.
“They were both so elated that all the wedding details were finally coming together, but they are hitting pause because of coronavirus.”
This news comes after Katy revealed her pregnancy to the world through her latest music video “Never Worn White.” She and Orlando have been engaged for over a year.
As of writing, Japan has a recorded number of 488 coronavirus cases and 9 fatalities. The Japanese government has since suspended classes, closed down theme parks and attractions, and canceled its cherry blossom activities this Spring.
