88rising is coming back with a new live concert this weekend and they’re bringing in our very own Ylona Garcia as well as “2gether” star Bright Vachirawit!
They’ll be performing alongside many other Asian artists, including NIKI, Audrey Nuna, Bvndit, and more, for 88rising’s Asia Rising: Summer Edition!
Previously, Ylona got the attention of the music label when she posted a cover of Jay-R’s “No Pressure” on her Twitter account. According to them, her performance was “Dope”! It’s no wonder that she was chosen to rep the Philippines this time around.

It was just last May 7 when 88rising launched a four-hour live-streamed concert on its YouTube page called Asia Rising Forever featuring Filipino musicians Iñigo Pascual and London-based Beabadoobee.
As of writing, the schedule for the Asia Rising: Summer Edition concert has yet to be revealed after it was postponed from May 30 to a much later date “due to timing constraints.”
