Following the announcement of ABS-CBN Network that it will be halting all taping of primetime teleseryes, including the long-running FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, due to rising concerns over the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), Ang Probinsyano star Yassi Pressman took to Instagram to air out her thoughts about the suspension.

“Nakakalungkot po pero pansamantala hindi po muna namin kayo makakasama gabi-gabi mga Kapamilya,” she began on her post. “Tiniyak po ng ABS-CBN ang kaligtasan po naming lahat sa araw-araw na pagtratrabaho sa taping, kaya po minabuti na kami ay magpahinga po muna panandali.”
She added that fans of Ang Probinsyano and other primetime series can instead tune in to the reairing of classic teleseryes which will take their place starting Monday, March 16.
“Lagi pa ring nanjaan ang network na mahal po natin na patuloy na magbibigay ng balita at mga update sa atin. Sa primetime naman po, sabay-sabay nating panuorin muli ang mga palabas na minahal na po natin noon, at mga bagong ipapalabas na siguradong mamahalin din po natin,” she said.
“Patuloy po naming ipagdarasal ang kaligtasan ng lahat at babalik din po agad kami, ng kasama si Cardo. Mag-ingat po sana ang lahat sa #CoVid19! Godbless.”
