Tonight’s debate was shocking. However, just like the saying goes, “everything happens for a reason.”
The delay, indeed, showed the true characters of our candidates.
A simple rule (notes or documents) that was initiated by the Commission on Elections or COMELEC itself was “adjusted” due to so-called miscommunication. Because of that, people, including the candidates (Mar, Poe, and Duterte) were appalled as rules were supposed to be enforced.
Conversely, even before the debate started, the UP Cebu debate attendees have already revealed their bet for president. According to Inday Sara Duterte’s Facebook page, as of 5 PM today:
