One of our readers, Shaena Manzano, shared with WhenInManila.com her unconventional wedding where the guests weren’t required to wear formal attire. Guests were allowed to wear sneakers and jeans at the wedding. On top of that, she, as the bride, wore a pastel-colored dress, which is very non-traditional because most brides wear white.
She expressed that they “had fun planning their DIY wedding.”
She told us, “Jan 6, 2017 our 11th year as Bf and Gf and our 1st day as Mr. & Mrs. Maniego.”
“When we got officially engaged last Dec 24, 2015, we both know that we don’t want a formal and traditional wedding. We want it as relax, casual and ‘very us’ celebration as possible. Our journey to our Church wedding was fun though there were some challenges but God is good. He is always present and guiding us every day,” she added.
