This Hotbox Tasting Menu was first introduced during Valentine’s season as an option for couples to enjoy a gourmet meal even in the comforts of their home. With great reception from their customers, Cafe Sanso decided to make it available all year long.

The 5-course Hotbox Tasting Menu includes fusion dishes artfully created by Cafe Sanso. For appetizers, you get Focaccia bread with three butter Jamon and Cauliflower Chawan Mushi Bangus en Vinaigre; for the salad, a Charred Romaine and Tuyo Salad.

For the mains, this tasting menu lets you try three different dishes: Pomfret and Pumpkin, Pork Barriga Confit and Ginger Scallion Pasta, and Pommes Paolo Tartufata with Sous-vide USDA Hanger Steak.
It’s hard to pick a favorite because the mains were all so flavorful and delicious! The fish dish had a balanced blend of coconut milk and pumpkin. The pork was so juicy, tender, and savory and was the perfect pair for the pasta. The sous-vide steak was so excellently cooked that it maintained its perfect quality even if it went through travel time.
For dessert, the soft and moist Dark Chocolate and Ginger Choco Blanca Fondue were absolutely addicting—we couldn’t get enough of it! It was the perfect combination of bittersweet and tangy that your tastebuds would love.
These dishes are also so beautifully plated that they’re all instantly IG-worthy as soon as you open the box. With edible flowers and gorgeous plating, it will easily feel like you’re eating in a luxurious restaurant rather than sitting at home.
