Barbie Forteza and Jak Roberto had an early celebration of Valentine’s Day this year. Roberto surprised Forteza by setting up a lounge area in the back of his pickup truck.
According to Forteza, “He still managed to surprise me on this special day. Haaayy nako @jakroberto, tatlong taon na tayo pero feeling ko nililigawan mo pa rin ako.” [“We’ve been together for three years but I still feel like you’re courting me.”]
She ended her post by wishing everyone a happy Valentine’s Day.
Earlier this month, Forteza revealed that she asked Roberto for a more peaceful Valentine’s. She told GMA News, “As you all know, every Valentine’s Day, laging may pakulo ang Jak Roberto sa akin. Palaging may pa-surprise, palaging kailangan mag-aaway muna kami para hindi ko mahalata na may surprise siya sa akin.”
[“As you all know, every Valentine’s Day, Jak Roberto is always up to something. He always has a surprise. We always have to fight so I don’t figure out that he has a surprise for me.”]
She added, “Kaya nga sabi ko sa kaniya, ‘Mahal, tatlong taon na tayong nag-aaway bago mag-Valentine’s. Puwede bang next year, sabihin mo na sa akin kung ano ang gagawin natin. Para at least, ‘di ba, mapayapa nating ma-celebrate, masaya tayo parehas, hindi na ako umiiyak. Ganon!”
[“I told him, ‘we’ve fought for the last three Valentine’s. Next year, can you tell me what we will do?’ So that we can peacefully celebrate, we’re both happy, and I don’t cry.”]
