The possibility of rejection and humiliation is possibly one of the main reasons why we tend to stay away from confessing–and a possible happily ever after! But having a foolproof backup plan would give us enough reason to take the plunge.
Nicole Angeles shared such piece of advice on her Facebook account.
In this Facebook post that has been shared more than 20,000 times, Nicole shares a screenshot of a conversation she had as she confessed her feelings to a guy who already had a girlfriend.
She then responded flawlessly with a reply that will restore her dignity:
Thank you for participating! This is a social experiment for our thesis entitled “How Millennials React To Sudden Confessions.”
Perfect, right?! Netizens have been sharing and commenting that they’ll be using this backup plan in the near future.

Nicole also shared in the post that the got the idea from another friend. We’ve reached out to her for comment but hasn’t got any response.
