LOOK: This festival in Nepal celebrates man’s best friend–the doggo!

We love our doggos. They make the perfect companion! Truly man’s best friend. We usually show our gratitude for them by giving them treats or taking them for a walk. But this festival in Nepal takes it up several notches–they have a mini-festival dedicated to showing their furry friends how grateful they are for them! #SanaAll

Kukur Tihar or Kukur Puja is usually the second day of the Diwali lights festival and it is dedicated to dogs and, yes, even the stray dogs get special treatment on this day! They’re given garlands around their necks and tikka on their foreheads and they’re able to feast on delicious food all day. It’s what they deserve!

I wish we had something similar to this where we could just bust out our furry friends and thank them for their sacred companionship. We love you, doggos!
