Meet Hatty, the newest member of Cook County’s state office.
Hi, Hatty!
Look at her with her paw over the law book! We know she’s gonna be a great addition to the team.
Sworn in on October 29th, Hatty will begin her duty by comforting victims.
Hatty will mostly be aiding with children who are sexual assault victims. The attorney’s office knows how difficult the experience can be and they want to help in any way they can. Including the help of Hatty, a sweet therapy dog who’s been trained to assist and comfort victims.
And she’s not just a pretty face, she’s been trained to be a therapy dog by inmates to be an assistance dog in any way she can. What a good girl! We love you already, Hatty! We hope you become employee of the month every month. *Googly eye emoji*
