I first saw a Divoom Pixel Speaker on Instagram and I’ve searched high and low for it. Luckily, Divoom is available in the Philippines and is priced reasonably.

My Divoom Tivoo Smart Pixel Art Bluetooth Speaker is small but big in sound. It’s 3.9 x 3.2 x 3.2 inches and delivers crisp and loud sound even in big or confined spaces like bedrooms, garages or etc.

The shape is like a retro television and has turn dials that work to adjust volume, change pages and etc. It’s quite easy to use and very foolproof.

At first, I wasn’t expecting much from the Divoom because it honestly looked like a toy! But as soon as I played music, I was impressed. The sound was of high quality. According to their website, it has a 360°audio direction w/bass port, small volume bass dynamic compensation, attainable 75 signal-to-noise ratio, high fidelity, and noise reduction effect.

What I loved most about this Divoom is that I can play around with the display and even practice making my own pixel art.

I can choose from thousands of readily available pixel art from the community or create my own with the Divoom App. The pixel art moves along with the music that you play with the speakers.

Aside from being a Bluetooth speaker, it also has a clock with an alarm. You can also get notifications when you connect your social media accounts like Twitter and Instagram.
