Thirdy Ravena announced on Instagram that his operation for his finger surgery was a success.
According to the athlete, “Happy to announce that my operation was a success!”
He also shared his gratitude for the doctors who operated on him in Nagoya, Japan. Ravena added, “Thank you to the wonderful team of Dr. Nakao at Chunichi Hospital and my @neophoenix_official family.”
He ended his post with “Be back soon” and a heart emoji.
Ravena was diagnosed with an oblique fracture in his right fourth finger after an injury in a match against Sun Rockers Shibuya in the B.League last week.
His injury led him to officially withdraw from the B.League All-Star Game and Slam Dunk Contest.

In an earlier Instagram post, Ravena said that it will be an “arduous journey to recovery” but that he is “fully focused on getting back and making sure I return fitter and stronger than ever.”
