You’ve probably already given your special someone all the gift ideas you could think of. What next, right? Great Wall Arts, a new brand in the Metro that produces eco-friendly products, might be an answer to that! They make wooden crafts such as mirrors and mobile stands that are made to last for a long time—a perfect symbol of your love. Plus, they come with health benefits, too! (No, these products don’t come with PhilHealth, haha!)

Great Wall Arts is a baby in the industry today which started from an advocate of its proprietor, Russeline Royo, who makes the designs of the brand. Being a psychology student who had experienced interacting with children with special needs, Russeline saw the benefits wooden toys could give. Then she started making designs for handheld mirrors.

Who’s the fairest of them all?

True enough, did you know that wooden toys help build hand-eye coordination? They’re also tactile–because they’re heavier than lightweight plastic toys, children are more aware of what they’re doing. The most special part here is that these toys can grow with your children. One day, they’ll look back to their childhood memories and associate them with their toys. The handheld mirrors which this brand primarily offers are like those toys, too. They do not break easily and are built to last.

Aside from its durability, you lessen waste when you buy wooden toys or decors versus getting plastic ones. They’re biodegradable and recyclable. This was the background story of how it all started.

The name “Great Wall Arts” was inspired from a biblical story. “I wanted it (the name) to be something related kay Lord,” Russeline spoke of the background of the brand’s name.

And when we say these products can last a lifetime, that’s not fake news. Because these products are made from high-quality wood all bought locally, they are sure to stand the test of time. Imagine receiving them as gifts; how sweet! These products were crafted just outside Manila—Antipolo.

They’ve got handheld mirrors that go in shapes of oval, round, and heart. The wood used can either be mahogany or narra—all proudly Pinoy materials!
