LOOK: These ‘hugot’ products are perfect for your #feels

If an apple a day can keep the doctor away, maybe one item a day can let those feels go away … maybe?

This Arci Muñoz fan page on Facebook uploaded a series of photos of certain items that are relatable to one’s feels, particularly in relation to the hugot culture. According to the Urban Dictionary, ‘hugot’ is loosely defined as “words with potentially and personally deep sentimental or emotional undertones”. To begin with, the term ‘hugot’ is translated ‘to draw’ or ‘pull out’ in English. Put the puzzle pieces together, ‘hugot’ in context means to ‘draw out emotional undertones’.

The original uploader played with rhymes and words, with the corresponding item in the photo relatable to a #hugot remark. It has then brought wide reception of positive remarks to Facebook users. The post has been shared a thousand times since its posting.
