Clear your weekend, sis, because we’re all going to party!
Of course we’re not going to go out to party, but we’ll be joining DISCOnnection Night: House 628 Virtual Ball, an online Zoom party with our favorite drag queens, happening on June 13 at 10PM.

Eva Le Queen, Marina Summers, OV Cunt, and Prince will be joined by DJs Deej Diaz, Ayel Mari, and Tom Suplico. Special guests include Xyza Mizrahi, the mother of House of Mizrahi PH; Nique Manza, international pole champion and drag queen; and ADDLIB diva JP Ponla. A surprise guest will be there and we’re not allowed to say it, but best believe we were GAGGED when we found out she’ll be joining this weekend’s festivities.
Apart from DJ sets and performances, there will be a Vogue Showdown and Lipsync Battle open for interested participants. In true Ballroom tradition, the panel will be judging and scoring the contestants, while the audience can vote via the Zoom group chat. Winners will receive cash tips from the organizers and merch from sponsors.
Since June is Pride Month, the show will also include a short video from a queer artist about LGBTQ+ advocacies such as sexual orientation, gender identity, and expression (SOGIE) equality and HIV awareness.
DISCOnnection is inspired by the infamous Studio54 in New York City where the Club Kids culture was born. The night will feature tracks and DJ sets from all eras of disco such as Donna Summer, Cher, Kylie Minogue, Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa, Doja Cat, and so much more. In the age of the new normal, this event lets people enjoy the nightclub feels in the comfort of their own homes. By joining the Zoom room, participants are able to enjoy the music, drink, and even socialize through the group chat.
This Saturday’s category is legends, statements, and stars. Club kids, disco divas, glamazons, party monsters, and everything glitters are welcome!
