The comeback of the sensational “fanta-serye” Encantadia may have long ended, but the fanbase and hype seem to be far from dying down. It was a cult phenomenon in 2006 when it first premiered on the small screen, and it continued to be a phenomenon in 2016 when it aired yet again with new characters and a new set of cast members.
While the reboot ended in early 2017, it seems that Encantadia fans have something new to look forward to.
Encantadia director Mark Reyes recently posted a photo on Instagram that may have officially announced a comeback project for the original Sang’gres (Encantadia‘s main characters).

The caption of the post says: “We made it official tonight. #sanggreproductions” with a tag on the four esteemed actresses, Sunshine Dizon, Diana Zubiri, Iza Calzado, and Karylle.

There have been speculations on this reunion project for quite some time now, but it looks like the director himself has finally made it official.
