Holographic hair is the Internet’s newest obsession! The “holographic” name comes from its multidimensional effect, with its multiple colors that look like they keep changing hues depending on the angles. While it looks a lot like unicorn hair, it actually has softer colors.
According to Bustle, that the holographic trend is achieved with a technique called “hand-pressed coloring.”The stylist paints different patterns on a sheet of Plexiglas with dye and then places a section of hair onto the glass, transferring the dye to your strands.”
The result? Pure magic, straight out of a CGI movie.
