Bea Alonzo is showing her support and appreciation to medical front liners amid the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic by cooking meals good for nearly 100 people.

“Happy Easter! For the first time, I tried to cook for one hundred people (but failed). I just ended up doing 98, but that’s okay. Given the circumstances, I decided not to be hard on myself because the core reason why I cooked in the first place is to give a little joy to our front liners, and just by doing that, I already felt fulfilled,” she wrote on the caption.

She also thanked those who donated food for the health workers through I Am Hope Org which she established with her friends.

The meals were sent out to various hospitals across the metro, including Fatima Hospital in Valenzuela, East Avenue Hospital, Lung Center of the Philippines, and Philippine Heart Center in Quezon City. Bea even signed each meal as “from your Easter Bobbie,” as a reference to her beloved character from Four Sisters and a Wedding. So cute!

Bea has also led a fundraising drive to provide medical equipment, face masks, ethyl alcohol, vitamins, and more to front liners.
