People from the East, rejoice! One of Taiwan’s bestselling milk tea brands, Chachago, has finally opened its second branch in the Philippines, in Kapitolyo, Pasig. During the grand opening, customers were treated with a “Buy 1, Get 1 Promo” which consists of a free Yakult Pineapple drink for every single purchase.
The When In Manila team got to taste their bestsellers—and it proved to be a #milkteaheaven experience! For starters, their Chachago Milk Tea is a treat for people who like drinks that are creamy with a robust tea flavor. Their Brown Sugar Pearl with Milk, on the other hand, is a crowd favorite for good reason: it consists of creamy fresh milk and brown-sugar syrup that is not overly sweet but still has a very rich and distinctive flavor.

While the brand is known for its Brown Sugar Series, it also has a wide range of drinks that are worth trying. Their Fruit Teas, particularly the California Mix Fruit Tea and Lychee Drink, are refreshing and flavorful—with real fruit in the drinks! Their Chachago Taro with Milk also contains a generous amount of pearls and real Taro bits.

Chachago’s latte beverages, particularly the Mango Oreo with Salted Cream Cheese, is an unlikely combination of ingredients but still perfectly complements one another. Their Matcha with Ice Cream also came out as surprise as I am personally not a fan of matcha (don’t come for me, matcha fans!), but despite that, I actually enjoyed it more than I expected.

Chachago prides itself in using fresh ingredients exclusively sourced from Taiwan. From the tea to the toppings, the brand definitely embodies their promise of quality and delicious beverages. What makes Chachago a standout among other brands are their well-balanced and value for money drinks.
Following the success of their branches in Tomas Morato and Kapitolyo, it is no surprise that the brand is expanding to different parts in the Metro. Watch out as Chachago is opening more branches in Mandaluyong, Malabon, Robinsons Magnolia, and Bataan in the coming weeks.
