LOOK: Sunshine Cruz Calls Out Predators Sexualizing Her Three Daughters Online

Actress Sunshine Cruz has taken to social media to call out sexual predators who have been leaving inappropriate comments about her three young daughters online.

The slew of comments came after Sunshine had shared a number of photos on Instagram of herself with her daughters enjoying a dip in their inflatable pool and posing for the camera in their shorts and tank tops. In a Facebook post dated last Tuesday, July 7, Sunshine expressed her frustration at these netizens for using their “revealing” outfits as an excuse to sexualize the quartet.

“Nagkalat ang sexual predators sa social media lalo na dito sa Facebook. Check out my public pageย Sunshine Cruz. Sad na ginagawang rason ng mga manyak na ito na naka swimsuit or shorts daw kami. Do not blame women for the choice of clothes they wear. Believe me kahit nakabalot o gown pa kami sa beach may mga bastos pa din. Never blame women rather blame yourself dahil kahit pinagaral kayo ng mga magulang mo, lumaki parin kayong bastos at manyak,” she wrote.

She also called out three male schoolmates of her youngest, Chesca, whom the men were calling “dibs” on in a Facebook post from two years ago, in a tweet posted Monday, July 13. At the time the Facebook post was shared, Chesca was only 12 years old.

“I hope youโ€™ll have the courage to face us and say these things straight to our faces,” she warned before revealing their names.

Meanwhile, her other daughters, Sam, also a minor, and Angelina, have also been voicing out their distress over those who continue to objectify them just because they’re daughters of celebrities and because of what they choose to wear.

“Imagine going on FB and seeing so many memes / posts [sexualizing] you and your family (keep in mind that me and my younger sister are minors). I donโ€™t find them funny, I just find them gross and disturbing. to all the men posting about us, please watch your words,” Sam said.

“Donโ€™t normalize putting the blame on what we wear, whether itโ€™s too revealing or not decent for you. THIS is why rape culture exists. Instead, educate yourselves,” Angelina added.
