LOOK: This Restaurant Serves Delicious Unlimited A La Carte Dishes

If you love seafood (or just good food, in general, really) and happen to be in the beautiful island of Boracay, then you need to visit Nalka at the Muse Hotel. Located on the shores of Boracay, Nalka is basically ‘Aklan’ spelled backwards; this showcases their values deeply rooted in sustainability and Filipino pride.

Since they promote locally sourced fresh, healthy, and artisanal ingredients; you can expect their Eat-All-You-Can menu to be different from the rest. That’s right. This isn’t the typical buffet where you just line up for the buffet table and get what you want. This is different – and oh-so-worth-it.

For the first time in my life, I actually felt like scheduling trips to Boracay on a regular basis just to be able to eat here more often. And I’m not exaggerating.

Nalka’s unlimited ala carte offer is an eat-all-you-can service where you fill out the order list and it will be served to you.

Since they will take your orders three dishes at the time, you can be sure that each dish served to you is freshly made. The best part is that they don’t just offer the usual casual dishes you might find at regular buffets. They offer real, fresh, quality food that will make you want to keep coming back for more – it’s like fine dining, but in unlimited quantities.

Here are some of our favorites from the unli menu, but they have so many more options – for all kinds of seafood, different meats, and even salads!

You can also order Scallops, Crabs, and Steak ala carte at Php550 per 500g, Php200 per 100g, and Php650 per 250g respectively. Different Rice options are also available in the form of Plain Rice, Garlic Rice, Bagoong Fried Rice, and Seafood Fried Rice.

At Php799 for Lunch (11AM to 3PM) or Php899 for Dinner (5PM to 9PM), this meal is definitely well worth the money! The only things you need to remember is that (1) you have to clean all of your plates first before you order again, (2) you can’t take out any of the dishes, and (3) as with other buffets, you will have to pay extra if you have leftovers.

Nalka is also home to Pork Sinigang Tacos, which is a Unilever Award-winning dish made by Chef Gerard Mangente, who won the cooking challenge. Check out our video on their tacos here:

The food isn’t the only selling point of Nalka, either. They also have great staff members, who are more than happy to tell you stories about the island and talk to you about anything and everything under the sun. Plus, you can sit outside and enjoy a stunning view of the beach as you eat if you please (though you are free to sit inside, too, if you’d prefer). It’s definitely a one-of-a-kind experience you should not miss!
